Vehicle

Taking inspiration from our local area, Year 5 will host the BB County Show!

Following a trip to the Devon County Show at Westpoint in Exeter, we will decide on stalls to run and host alongside the PTFA at the Summer Fayre.

Literacy

For our first unit in the Summer term, we will be writing a persuasive letter to a local business, asking them for support with our Summer Fayre. 

In our second and third units, we will look at the text Charlotte's Web and explore the theme of friendship and caring for animals. 

Our fourth and final unit will be a discussion/ debate text, thinking about the use of animals for entertainment at fayres and zoos.
