Sports Play Leaders

The role of a Sports Play Leader involves:

• Encouraging active play during lunch time.

• Developing coaching skills under the guidance.

• Keeping a positive attitude to model good behaviour on the playground.

• Keeping children safe when leading a session.

Each week we lead a number of sports activities during lunch time on both the KS1 and KS2 playground. Examples of games we lead include:

• Treasure Hunt
• Active 3 in a row
• Coloured Cones
• Diamond Kick

We are motivated to make lunchtimes fun and active.
