Rights and Responsibilities

Year 5 will begin the half term looking at current issues in the media. They will look carefully at the difference between a fact and an opinion, using the internet to illustrate 'fake news' and the impact it has on our beliefs. They will define the difference between our 'rights' and 'responsibilities'. They will look at the difference between voluntary, community and pressure groups. They will finish the half term looking at money management covering terms such as loan, credit, debit and interest.
