In Devon there are dedicated professional teams you can contact. They will look in to your concerns and make sure that the person you are worried about is safe and well looked-after.

 

Safeguarding children

Private Fostering

Vulnerable adults

 

If you suspect a vulnerable adult is being abused you can make a Safeguarding Alert by phoning Care Direct on 0845 1551 007. A decision will be taken about what to do next.

Domestic violence

 

If you are living with domestic violence or abuse, or are worried that someone else is, you can contact the adva partnership for advice and guidance. You can also contact adva if you are a professional seeking advice or training on 01392 382233.
