Daily Physical Activity

 

Children and young people aged 5- 18

All children and young people should engage in moderate to vigorous intensity physical activity for at least 60 minutes and up to several hours every day.

 

Vigorous intensity activities, including those that strengthen muscle and bone, should be incorporated at least three days a week.

 

All children and young people should minimise the amount of time spent being sedentary (sitting) for extended periods.

P.E Joe Wicks

Joe Wicks' daily P.E sessions are all available on YouTube if you miss his live sessions or want to an extra lesson (30 minutes)

 

Dance

Oti Mabuse  from 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'The Greatest Dancer' has uploaded daily dance classes for kids on YouTube. If you miss her live session just do it at a later time in the day or pick one of the others to complete. (30 minutes)

 

Gymnastics

Check out 'Our Gym Fam' on YouTube. Victoria runs a Gymnastic club in Northern Ireland, she is a very experienced coach and gymnast. Her and her family are uploading challenges for all the family to join in with.
