Rights and Responsibilities

This half term Year 6 children will start by looking at 'facts' and 'opinions' portrayed by the media. They will look at the legal age for having social media accounts and the reasons behind these. They will look at some of the benefits of saving money and begin to learn about different types of taxes. They will look at different groups and how they aim to help our communities. Finally, they will look at living in an environmentally sustainable way.
