KS2 Challenge

This week we would like you and your family to help raise awareness of Mental Health, within our community at Bradley Barton.

This year, the Mental Health Foundation has chosen to celebrate kindness and we would like you to help us celebrate this too.

Your challenge is complete a random act of kindness every day, for someone in your family. To make this harder, you have to complete each kind act without anybody in your family noticing! Then on Friday, you need to ask all your family to try and guess what random acts of kindness you have carried out. Let's see who can be the sneakiest kind person at Bradley Barton!

How to Complete the Challenge

1) Think of 5 random acts of kindness you would like to do.

For example; helping to cook dinner, helping a sibling with their home learning or writing an appreciation letter to a family member.

If you would like to, you can create a random act of kindness Jar to keep your ideas in. The EYFS/KS1 tab has instructions to make one of these.

2) Carry out a random act of kindness every day.

3) On Friday, ask all your family to come together. Ask them if they spotted your random acts of kindness throughout the week?

4) Share your random acts of kindness with your class teacher and let them know how many acts remained unidentified by your family!

Good luck and remember, remain undetected and kind!
